I'm Writing a New Book (The Adventures of Emejulia Smith Will Release Soon)

Image
So, I'm writing a new novel called Of the Coast and the Forests , which is inspired by the works of John Steinbeck and other similar authors. Don't worry - The Adventures of Emejulia Smith will release soon; we're just having some internal delays at Beinevach CreativeWorks. My new novel, Of the Coast and the Forests , will be about kindness and community and will be set in a fictional area on the West Coast of New Zealand. I don't want to spoil too much, but the first line of the book is, "In the beauteous land of the coast and the forests lies a dream; a dream of better days, a dream of friendship and kindness, a dream of hope and resistance." Here are the proposed front cover and back cover designs (we've gotten better since the last time lol): Front cover design Back cover design

Weekly Poems: The Lands of Hate and Woe

Hello! Welcome back to Weekly Poems . Remember that my poems are original works and cannot be copied under law ✨. The Lands of Hate and Woe Flying above the cold dark lands, Is hope shining inexorably, Fair and winsome, bright and sweet, Is one who breaks the worldly line. Graceful colours red and blue, O’er the lands of hate and woe, Beauteous and shining light, Orbs of hope, how short so ever. Infallible in thought and ways, Perfect at the eyes full glance, The darkness fades, and colour comes, Not a flaw to be perceived. ©️ 2023 Bleys Robertson

The United States is a Dystopia

What's going on in the U.S. right now is insane; with non-existent gun laws, Ron Desantis's anti-trans bills and an increasingly right-wing GOP, it's practically a dystopia. It's crazy that a child could be shot in a school in America and then not be able to receive care because their parents can't afford it. Here are some things that America desperately needs to have in order to maintain democracy and quality of living: Medicare for All Equal Rights Amendment Constitutional protection of the LGBTQ community, POC, etc. Easily available abortion care Fair and democratic policies Better gun laws (similar to that of New Zealand) Since I live in New Zealand, which has free healthcare, abortion for all people, and other essential things, I have quite a different perspective on America than Americans. I think America should be more like New Zealand or Australia; and if you're in America, please vote blue in 2024 to maintain democracy!

Weekly Poems: That Old Hawthorn Tree

Hello folks! Today's post is the first instalment of Weekly Poems , a weekly series of posts showcasing my poetic works. Remember that my poems are original works and cannot be copied under law 😎. That Old Hawthorn Tree Oh, by that old hawthorn tree, Does freedom reign and liberty live, Oh, how great is the land of the free, Where kindness prospers and people give. The wicked ways, the roughest stream, Do not taint the great reflection, The coldest day, the worst dream, The purity calls from the section. ©️ 2023 Bleys Robertson

The Adventures of Emejulia Smith Promotional Blurb

I know you're all desperate for more information on my new book, The Adventures of Emejulia Smith, so I have written a new promotional blurb! The Adventures of Emejulia Smith Bleys Robertson’s latest novel! “One day you’ll be walking down a gravel path at the foot of a beautiful hill, admiring liberty, and they’ll shoot you in the back. You won’t even see it coming; you won’t see the shooter.” In this shocking and thoughtful novel, renowned author Bleys Robertson brings to light the flaws of capitalism and warns about the path that modern society is heading down. Follow the stunning journey of Emejulia, a plentfruitfulist stuck in a dystopian capitalist society in which the government has total control, there are no unions, religion or freedom of thought, and greedy corporations rule the lands. Will Emejulia escape from the woeful society she is stuck in, or will she be killed at the hands of the authorities before she can try?

I'm Writing A New Book

Image
I'm writing a new dystopian book called "The Adventures of Emejulia Smith", which is about capitalism, and plentfruitfulism, and is inspired by Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. The book, when completed, will be available on my website, BeineWiki, and BeineBooks. The Adventures of Emejulia Smith will be longer than The Forgotten Voyage, and will hopefully be better, more descriptive, and more exciting. The book is not set in an earlier time, unlike The Forgotten Voyage, which will hopefully mean I have more creative freedom to write whatever. Please stay tuned, and I will post links to the book when I'm done. Current proposed book cover by Beinevach CreativeWorks

My Best Poems

Here are the best poems I have written so far! The Dawn’s Light As dawn brings its orange light, The trees and bushes start to quiver, For no longer is it night, The life emerges; and does deliver. The quiet night has been and gone, And now the trees are full of song, The mist does rise; the skies clear, It almost feels like a new year. The Undergrowth That dense undergrowth blows about, And an occasional flower does sprout, But the ground remains green, The flowers unseen, Shrubbery covers those windy plains, Not even a place to plant those grains, And once the sun rises, There are no compromises, And the shrubs grow into the lanes. Far Away So close, yet so far away, That harsh dawn does start the day, The people maddened by passersby, A threat to their home and life. A solemn song from far away, The cold night does turn to day, Maybe from their weary grave, A way forward they might pave. The Bush Walking through that treacherous bush, The night calls; and gives one a push, The end i...

Read The Forgotten Voyage

Check out my new science fiction novel: read it on my website , or read it on BeineWiki . Here's a quick summary: Preface The novel opens by stating that many people did not know that the human race's origins are traced back to places other than earth. The preface then describes a theory that humans were sent to earth through space in a spacecraft from millions of miles away. It then states that many scientists do not believe the theory and that Mr Richards, the main character, will prove them wrong. Before the invasion Before the invasion occurs, the novel describes the daily life of Mr Richards, collecting samples, researching and interacting with locals. He is particularly friendly with Farmer John Walkey. They interact many times, and when Farmer Walkey is sick, Mr Richards contemplates suicide. When Mr Richards goes to buy a book for Farmer Walkey, a falling star drops onto the village, destroying the entire main village and flattening buildings. The invasion Mr Richards d...

The Forgotten Voyage Teaser (Written by ChatGPT)

I asked ChatGPT to write a song about the first chapter of my new book, The Forgotten Voyage! Can you guess what it's about 👀? Verse 1: On these lands we walk and roam, Unaware of the truth, we call home. My theory, so bold and rare, The human race wasn't born here. Pre-Chorus: Fragments in the soil and on the shores, Resurfaced from the circle of changes and more. But people call me mad and insane, Dismiss my work and call it a game. Chorus: Learning and discovering is what I do, Dedicated to finding something new. For ten years, I've researched and written, But still, my theories remain forbidden. Verse 2: I explore the intricate landscape, Clambering over rocks with grace. Collecting samples for my study, The truth is out there, I mustn't be muddy. Pre-Chorus: My cottage, my sanctuary, Where I read books and do my query. But then, Farmer Walkey approaches me, Asks for tea and enquires about my journey. Chorus: Learning and discovering is what I do, Dedicated to find...

The Forgotten Voyage Introduction (Sneak Peek)

Excited for my new book? Well here's a sneak peek! It is not known, to the majority of people who reside on these lands, going to and fro, engaging in their affairs, that the human race was never from here. At least, that’s my theory. Billions of years ago, a voyage of sorts embarked through the void of space, towards a new Earth, that would sustain life. Even after billions of years, fragments can be found in the soil and on the shores, resurfaced from the circle of changes, of which this earth causes. People who possess the intellectual superiority required to discover this are called mad and insane by people who seem too interested in their own affairs to listen to science. Even prolific scientists dismiss these theories, for the work required to research them takes too much valuable time. Learning and discovering information regarding these theories is imperative for me. It’s what I dedicate my life to. This text is copyrighted to Bleys Robertson. This text shall in no way be r...
