Weekly Poems: That Old Hawthorn Tree
Hello folks! Today's post is the first instalment of Weekly Poems, a weekly series of posts showcasing my poetic works. Remember that my poems are original works and cannot be copied under law 😎.
That Old Hawthorn Tree
Oh, by that old hawthorn tree,
Does freedom reign and liberty live,
Oh, how great is the land of the free,
Where kindness prospers and people give.
The wicked ways, the roughest stream,
Do not taint the great reflection,
The coldest day, the worst dream,
The purity calls from the section.
