Can Colmar Systems Pull Off an Access Network in 2023?

Many people are wondering if it is possible that Colmar Systems could pull off their new Colmar Access Network and actually create a coherent product. That's what I will try to answer today. Just a quick disclaimer first: I am in no way affiliated with Colmar Systems. I'm just basing this on my own knowledge as CEO of Beinevach during the WNO era.

Framework
The Colmar Access Network is rumoured to use a different framework than WNO did. WNO used the ParisCode framework, but Colmar Access is rumoured to use the CO:DE framework. This means it will not operate in the same way that WNO did.

WNO's Pros and Cons
WNO had a few pros and cons. The pros were that the network felt coherent, and reached out into a more app-centric internet, and focused on entertainment systems such as TVs. WNO websites worked well, and through iNS NetArchive, the sites were easily viewed in their older forms. Some of the top sites included Beinevach Forum, PengWorld, Webber and iNS Excelsis.

WNO had some cons as well, which stopped it from achieving success. It was firstly, hard to get. You had to already use a ParisCore operating system, be in the range of WNO infrastructure, and had to be connected via a certified internet connection. It was also hard to convince people to use it. The Searchle and iNS Explore browsers only showed WNO when all normal tabs were closed, up until 2021, just before the Facto Fund depletion.

Many people did not want to use it as it was an inconvenience, and the concept of "ditching HTTPS" was seen as unnecessary. It was also quite unknown, as then, Beinevach was a lot less known than it is now. WNO was shut down in 2021 after the depletion of the Facto Fund, but the WNO base code infrastructure is still available via ParisCode.

Conclusion
In conclusion, I think that the Colmar Access Network is destined to fail, and be a reminder of how history can repeat itself.
