That Sunday was a normal Sunday. Peng was in bed having a sleep-in. He loved Sundays because he had no work to go to. Grandma Peng was making soup in the kitchen. She chucked some bacon strips into her masterpiece. Chipy slowly walked into the room to watch TV. “Chipy”, Grandma Peng called. “Please tell you dad to get out of bed! It is time for shopping!” The town that the family lived in was a small place. There were a few houses there and a small shop block. In the shop block were two shops. The two shops were Oakville Diary and Just Cheap Clothes Shop. There was space for four shops, but one was a storage building and one was under construction. Over the road, there was a park cafe and info center. The park was the size of a decent sized house section. The family got ready to go. They got in the family car, a Subaru Legacy Station Wagon! Chipy got in the back. The car had seven seats. Parakeet sat in the back too. Penkey, Chipy and Nitty sat in the seats behind the front seats. Grandma Peng and Peng sat in the front and Ruby sat in the boot!
